COMMUNITY SERVICE

• Members are active in community service. The SUHBA is presently working with Habitat For Humanity and other groups.
• The SUHBA members volunteered their time and labor in constructing The Fire Safety Training House at the main fire station in St. George. The training house was constructed in a 24 hour blitz, and donated to the City of St. George. It is used to teach Washington County school children hands on fire safety practices.
• Other charities that have benefited are the D.O.V.E. Center, the Children's Justice Center and SUHBA members built the Doctors Volunteer Clinic.

IMPROVE SKILLS & IMAGE

• All professionals are continually learning and keeping up-to-date in this fast changing world. SUHBA offers education in classes at Dixie College, seminars, Southern Utah Bulding Industry Conference, the International  Builders Show, and the Utah Builders Conference. Pick and choose as much or as little educational classes as you need!
• By serving as a leader or committee chairperson, you will develop leadership skills that will help you in your personal and professional areas. The public looks to the Association as a leader in protecting their homeowner rights. Become known throughout the community as a trained professional.

• SUHBA offers an extensive library of books and video tapes all relating to the construction industry. The library is for the exclusive use of our members, who may check out any available materials, for which they have a need.
