SUHBA EDUCATION PROGRAM Sponsored by Perry Homes Southern Utah
SUHBA is a driving force for our members’ business education. It is dedicated to raising industry standards for members and the building community, offering education workshops throughout the year on a wide range of topics.
The Southern Utah Home Builders Association (SUHBA) has an established scholarship program. Each year, SUHBA will award scholarships to students pursuing post high school education. Preference for scholarships will be given to students pursuing construction-related education and students affiliated with SUHBA. The scholarship may be used to fund almost any post-secondary education, i.e., college or vocational, public or private. Monies will be paid directly to the school of choice of the winners to help defray the cost of tuition. Recipients may be awarded up to $1,000 per academic year. Applicant must be Grade 12 or equivalent to apply. Deadline to apply is March 31st of each year.
Attend this annual conference with contractors and building professionals from all over Utah. Earn up to 7 continuing education credits, network, and learn what the economical forecast is for the coming year. SUHBA primary members in good standing may receive a FREE registration, and additional employees may receive a reimbursement from the SUHBA scholarship fund. Additionally, most attendees may receive a 40% Custom Fit reimbursement.
SUHBA members can obtain necessary continuing education credits necessary for renewal of their contractor licenses. Many opportunities are available throughout the year to obtain both core and professional credits. The Education Committee plans and coordinates professional speakers to present interesting topics to meet the needs of our members.
